This car is doomed to die; don’t you realize what you have done?!?! It has 10 days to live!
Also, nice to see ya around here. Drivetribe is very promising. I know you probably don’t want to use your real name but you can just type in your Kinja username as your name there and it still works fine. Not sure if you’re already there.

Somebody who lives in my nice-but-not-THAT-nice apartments has an i8. I would have put that kind of money toward living farther away from the city .

I’m thinking about living closer to Atlanta if I change careers.

I try not to be around here much, honestly. All of the corona doomsdayers make it hard to tolerate. As I told Chariotoflove on his post about 2020 being good, it’s weird to live a life where everyone is back in school (thanks for actually realizing Paulding was doing something right since late August, Cobb), a lot of people don’t wear masks, a lot of people are back to their routine (places closed before shutdowns are open again), AND there isn’t mass outbreak, and come online to relax, only to see fear and snark from commenters about trick or treating on Halloween because it’s “dangerous”. Halloween was busy this year, of course, but no trick or treaters for me as usual.
I’ve got my Alltrack & I work at the car dealership, so I’m exposed to cars already. I don’t really think it’s worth sharing car stuff with a group of people that’s generally judgmental. I’d love to meet you sometime, though. Thank you for checking in on me!

Talking about Corona got old 6 months ago. I am back in school living a reasonably normal life with less activities than usual and given the precautions I’ve taken I don’t expect that to change. I have some particular health concerns of my own which has led me to be more careful than I might otherwise have but I don’t think anyone’s minds are being changed at this point. Especially with politics leaning towards the far left here I try to stay away from anything that could lead to a partisan discussion.
What the community here has that really keeps me coming back is an enthusiasm for all cars, whether they be humble commuters, bonkers relics from a less sane way of thinking, or insane racecars and exotics (the latter don’t interest me as much). This is a bit of a sneak peak but this is probably going up on both Oppo and Drive Tribe tomorrow. In our darkest hour, a wild Suzuki Swift appears.
Definitely. I think that meetup around Thanksgiving with Taylor Martin is still supposed to be on. Though you’re welcome to text me if you’re ever in the area of GT and want to say hi. I think we’d get along well. Hope things have been going well for you.

That is a nice car. It has enough horsepower to be fun, and superb styling IMO.

Cool! What day is that? I’m already more than halfway past my 100-per-month goal, so I can probably take some time off down the road.

Either the day before or the day after as Taylor is passing through. Gotta get more details from him as to an expected time window so we can see how it can work.
Congrats on success at your new job.
